What do I aspire to be you ask?  Well, from the day I was born in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, I wanted to make a positive change in the world.  I asked myself, "How could I do this?  How can I affect the world for the better?" and decided that changing the world would be amazing, but at the end of the day, if something I do helps someone, then I succeeded in spreading the seed of love and kindness.
That brings me to my background and the things I have done to try and achieve that.  I have spent most of my career helping others learn and believe in their wonderful capabilities, for example, I worked as an Office Manager for PaceKids in Calgary, Alberta and Points West Consulting Regina, Saskatchewan.  In 2003 I attended the Practical Nursing Program, at Bow Valley College.  Other years were spent as an Education Assistant with the Calgary Board of Education as well as The Regina Public School Board.  This gave me experience working with young children, a variety of disabilities, and culturally diverse students.  How did this play into what I aspire to be?  When I left one of my positions, I remember one young girl giving me a flag of her county that she had painted me.  She was now spreading that seed back to me, with the love and kindness.  Did I teach that?  I sure hope I did because she will then spread that seed again.
Presently, I am working in the Non-Profit sector at the Saskatchewan Abilities Council, (Partners in Employment Regina Branch) as the Community Coordinator for The New Opportunities for Work Program helping people that have barriers to employment find meaningful work.
So again, what do I aspire to be?  I want to make the world a better place by just being me and trying to spread that seed of love and kindness.
Who wants to join me?
