Tom Hampton
President
TAB LA North

Principal in S&TH Consulting, President of TAB LA North and a resident of Los Angeles for 30+ years.

With over 25 years of executive management experience across multiple industries, from Technology to Equipment to Consumer Products to Utilities.

The focus of TAB LA North/S&TH Consulting is in helping Business Owners improve their lives and company performance.  Providing solutions in Finance, Planning, Coaching, and Performance Mgt... leveraging the "Advisory Board" concept.

My executive leadership positions have ranged from Entrepreneur to Finance VP to General Manager.  I took a small machinery business from $12 million in sales to $25 million in sales and from a 10% ROI to 30%.  I have worked with IBM, Xerox, Scott Paper, Avery-Dennison, and Southern California Edison.  As you can see my experience translates across industries from High-Technology, Consumer Products, Equipment, Utilities, to Labels.  My ability to understand the business and integrate the financial/operational functions together was a primary attribute which helped me advance and succeed in Corporate America.

I have managed and forecasted budgets ($50-500 million) across multiple departments identifying strategies to achieve the targets over 20+ years... never missing a target.  My expertise includes advising CEO's, COO's, Senior VPs and Department Heads on strategy, budgets, annual plans, and performance management; managing asset portfolio's from $25 million to $1 billion in assets; and building organizations from the ground up, such as:  Centralized Finance Dept., Benchmarking Dept., Planning Dept., and a Risk/Internal Assessment Dept.

I have a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a MBA from Cornell University in Finance.  I am married with two children.
