Emerging Technologies in Aerospace & Defense Wednesday, May 2, 2012 - 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Westlake Village Inn, 31943 Agoura Road, Westlake Village Few industries change as quickly as the aerospace/defense sector. Technologies that sound like science fiction when new - pilotless drones, carbon fiber jetliners, private flights into space - quickly become routine. Supply chains span the globe. Markets change overnight because of shifts in national alliances or government policies. Managing a company in this sector requires flexibility and adaptability, along with the specialized skills and careful controls needed to manufacture products that require both extreme precision and faultless reliability. What technologies will affect the outlook for this vitally important component of California's economy? Come hear the views of a panel of industry experts at the May 2 breakfast meeting of ACG 101 at the Westlake Village Inn.
