Arlen’s practice is transactional focusing on business, commercial and corporate law; mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations; acquisition and sale of real and personal property; real estate development and finance; leases and leasehold financings of all types; and nonprofit law and board governance.  He has acted and is available to act as an expert witness in matters involving non-profit entities.
 
Arlen was named a 2009 “Super Lawyer” in the area of real estate by Law and Politics Magazine and the publishers of Los Angeles Magazine.  For the past 21 years, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Century City Chamber of Commerce and was its former chairman.  He is also a member on several nonprofit boards and generously supports other nonprofit organizations.
